COCKATIEL

LOST REPORT #: L1033

Wednesday June 1st 2011

Lake Placid, North Elba, New York, US

LOST REPORT #: L1033 - COMMENTS

Spike is an 11- year-old male pied cockatiel (Mostly gray with a yellow head). A distinguishing feature is that he is missing feathers around his face and neck. He also does not have clipped wings and is an excellent flier. I raised him from an egg and he has been a huge part of my life and family for all these years. He is tame and has a very easygoing flirtatious lively personality. He is very vocal and loves to sing and he responds to and mimics his name and the words "chip-chip-chipper." He was last seen on Deerwood Trail in Lake Placid, NY, when the wind knocked over his cage and startled him, causing him to fly frantically towards the trees. If you see him, repeat "chip chip chipper" in a high pitched voice. He will respond to this. He may try to fly down and land on your head. I miss him very much. If anyone finds him call me. A reward will be provided for his safe return.
