My beloved, Pickle is nearly 5 years old. I have had him since he was 11 weeks. He has a purple breeder's band with the intials of the breeder, his number in the clutch and the month/yr when he was hatched. He is extremely attatched to me and scared of most other people. He has never been outside of the house. He flew out the front door at 4:30pm on 9/15/11. I put the cage out with peanut butter, treats and his toys all night, after standing for nearly 3 hours under a tree calling to him before he flew away. I am so concerned for his safety.
