REWARD $100
AFRICAN GREY
STOLEN REPORT #: S1626
Wednesday July 27th 2011
Attica, New York, US
The parrot was given to a friend of mine to hold while I was in between apartments. It had belonged to a friend who died and I wanted to take it with me. I paid all the expenses and that of the other bird, a conure. Her son, who does not live with her, but comes and goes from another state and was supposed to be an avid animal lover, I later found out was also on drugs and apparently, while she was visiting her daughter out of state, he decided to take the bird "for a walk". He claims he gave it to someone to "hold" in the street for a minute and when he turned around the bird was gone. I suspect, however, that in his drugged up state, that he sold the bird. I have put numerous signs up offering a reward and have heard nothing. It was "lost" on East 112th Street somewhere or around that area. I am, of course, heartsick since I've known this bird over 10 years! I am still praying for a miracle!
